**Immediate Hiring for Cook** **SHIFT - 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT** **** Job Description As a Cook II, you will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and special or catered events. Responsibilities + Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and portion control standards. + Present food items neatly and timely for a variety of meal periods. + Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and efficiently. + Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on catering and banquet experience. + Assist with cold and hot food preparation, including chopping, grilling, slicing, and steaming. + Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes and cleaning workstations. + Control inventory and follow proper food storage procedures. Essential Skills + Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques. + Ability to use kitchen equipment and knives safely. + Experience in catering and banquet cooking. + Capability to follow instructions and recipes. + Teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in both hot and cold food preparation. + Ability to handle inventory control effectively. + Previous experience in hospitality and food production is beneficial.
