**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers. This role involves supporting maintenance and construction of plant equipment through transportation, product conveyance, and operation of material handling equipment within the facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all tasks involved in receiving, location, issue, kit, preparation, and movement of materials, including raw materials, tools, parts, and hazardous materials to facilitate production processes.
+ Use power or hand-operated tools and equipment to check hardware and tools for damage and route obsolete items for proper disposition.
+ Operate information systems to enter and retrieve data from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for daily and weekly assignments.
+ Coordinate customer work requests with management and operate motive equipment, including mobile cranes.
+ Assure proper protection of parts and equipment using appropriate devices and load/unload air cargo as needed.
+ Check the condition of material handling equipment before and after operation, perform routine maintenance, and report major malfunctions.
+ Verify part numbers and counts of in-process material and communicate effectively with management, vendors, and shipping personnel.
+ Train other employees in the same job classification.
+ Ensure safe operation of equipment, including large assembly moving equipment, and perform railcar brakeman and hook tender responsibilities.
+ Plan and arrange for vehicles and cranes maintenance, maintain logs, and coordinate requests for transportation and other functions.
+ Maintain communication during emergencies and provide transportation services as authorized.
+ Operate motive power vehicles such as rail car switch engines, cargo loaders, forklifts, and mobile cranes to move and position parts and equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Willingness to work any shift
+ Valid driver's license
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance and Customer Program Access
+ Ability to pass a vision exam including color identification
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Construction experience, including working from heights and around heavy equipment
+ Experience with heavy equipment such as skid steer, forklift, backhoe, tractor, bulldozer, excavator, and directional boring
+ Rigging and crane experience

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
