**Job Title: Plant Operations Assistant** **Job Description** The Plant Operations Assistant is responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, and adhering to production schedules. This role requires setting up equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The position reports to the Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment. + Hang and seal bags of product. + Fill and seal shaker bottles of product. + Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level. + Place product on pallets according to specifications. + Assist with maintaining and cleaning production equipment and lines. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. + Demonstrated ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment. + Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities. + Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing experience preferred, but experience in other industries such as restaurant is acceptable. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team that values safety and quality in a manufacturing environment. Employees must be comfortable standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, stacking, lifting, and walking for long periods. Physical strength to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Work involves repetitive motions and use of hand tools.
