Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in CNC machining, with experience in working with Mazak machines and an understanding of blueprints and CNC operations.
ResponsibilitiesStudy blueprints, sketches, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines to machine parts as required.Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or input commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures.Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required.Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.Confer with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years recent CNC machining experienceExperience with Mazak 3-5 axis machining and CNC Lathe experienceKnowledge of Mazatrol SmoothX ControlsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and sketchesAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Millturn background is a mustFamiliarity with Fanuc controls is acceptableExperience with Machining, Lathe, Fanuc, Calipers, Micrometer, Haas, and height gaugesWhy Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr.
