Job Description

The role involves managing and tracking inventory as it moves in and out of the warehouse. Candidates will use heavy computer applications to monitor equipment, primarily utilizing Microsoft Excel, and will cross-train in another area where timely processing of parts is crucial. Although SAP experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk up and down stairs while carrying parts.

ResponsibilitiesTrack inventory using an inventory software as it enters and exits the warehouse.Monitor equipment using Microsoft Excel, utilizing basic functions such as filters.Cross-train in another area to ensure parts are processed efficiently.Carry parts and equipment and navigate stairs within the warehouse.Essential SkillsExperience in shipping and receiving.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Computer proficiency for heavy usage.Experience with warehouse inventory tracking.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with work orders.Familiarity with expediting, kitting, and SAP is a plus.Why Work Here?

This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a dynamic warehouse environment. The role offers the chance to work onsite at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), with flexible shift options to accommodate work-life balance.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a warehouse setting, requiring candidates to be on their feet for eight hours a day. Available shifts include 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00-15:30), 6th shift (Mon-Thurs, 15:00-1:30), 7th shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00-18:00), and 8th shift (Fri-Sun, 18:00-6:00). Each shift includes a lunch break and two 10-minute breaks. Candidates on 7th and 8th shifts have the option to work an additional four hours during the week to reach 40 hours, provided the schedule is consistent.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
