Job Description

Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. Ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.Use computer, scan gun, or other tools and processes to correctly match ingredients to shop orders.Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during the production process.Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, and swabbing of equipment, and follow policies surrounding Quality Control needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience ideally in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.Knowledge of machine operating/production.Strong knowledge and emphasis on safety.Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of product.Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations.Ability to follow procedures and directions to properly identify product and follow formulas.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs on a regular basis.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual in Spanish is a plus.Motivation and a good attitude with the ability to learn.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company, specializing in sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. With a small team of only 15 people, employees must be able to work alone and take initiative. Work hours are from 5 am to 1:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
