**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join a leading company specializing in safety cutting solutions, where your role as a Machine Operator will significantly contribute to enhancing workplace safety and productivity. You will be part of a dynamic team focusing on the production of industrial safety products designed to reduce cutting injuries and minimize product damage. 2pm to 10:30pm (train on 1st shift) $22 - $22/hr **Responsibilities** + Operate various machines including punch press, heat treat, or grinding equipment. + Set up machinery for daily operations and conduct safety inspections. + Monitor equipment during operation and perform adjustments and repairs as needed. + Perform welding tasks during the setup process between spools. + Cross-train in all tasks within the Blades Department. + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. + Maintain and troubleshoot grinding and welding equipment. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. + Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. + Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor. + Stage and pick materials using a barcode scanner. + Manage reporting paperwork and perform data entry tasks. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in deburring or grinding. + Experience with metal spools and razor blade manufacturing is a plus. + Proficiency in welding, particularly during setup processes. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. + Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred. + 2-3 years of machine operating experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Solid experience in managing multiple priorities. + Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data. + Full understanding of material storage procedures and practices. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Ability to speak, read, and write English. **Why Work Here?** Be a part of a company that values innovation and safety, offering a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
