Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. You will perform preventative maintenance on high-speed unit sorters, case sorters, PLC controllers, and conveyor controls, among other systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
ResponsibilitiesConduct preventative maintenance on various equipment including high-speed unit sorters, case sorters, and ASRS systems.Troubleshoot and maintain conveyor controls, photo eyes, encoders, scanners, and dimensioners.Apply electrical knowledge to work with transformers, motor control panels, and replace 3 phase 480v motors with brakes.Replace gear box speed reducers and re-lace or replace conveyor belts of multiple sizes and lengths.Maintain air control systems, hydraulics, trash compactors, and corrugated balers.Perform maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting.Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Utilize thorough knowledge of all shop tools to perform duties efficiently.Essential SkillsPreventive maintenanceMechanical troubleshootingAbility to read schematics and blueprintsElectrical knowledge (600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, 12v)Experience with VFD controlsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust have own toolsMinimum 1 year experience in Industrial Maintenance (preferred 2 years)Completion of Industrial Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics programs at Trade SchoolWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a Distribution Center spanning over 3 million square feet. Shifts are structured from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, with options for morning, afternoon, or night shifts: 6am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, and 10:00pm-6:30am.

This is a Contract position based out of Moreno Valley, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
