Job Description
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of systems including Voice and Data, Fiber Optics, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Security, Access Control, Wireless Systems, and Nurse Call.
Responsibilities
Install low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call systems, fiber optics, etc.Cross connect cable and perform fiber splicing and termination.Terminate cable according to color codes and test for polarity and connectivity.Set up computer rooms and organize racks and patch panels.Process paperwork accurately, neatly, and timely.Maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.Install pathways and cabling, analyzing blueprints effectively for job site knowledge.Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment, procedures, and training needs.Demonstrate the ability to complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size.Opportunity to lead small crews and enforce a safe jobsite.Install and terminate peripheral devices.Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting tasks.Experience with low voltage systems, installation, and service.Competency in Cat5, Cat6, and fiber splicing.Strong skills in cabling, repair, assembly, service, construction, and installation.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to bend, lift, and carry equipment regularly.Capability to bend, lift, twist, turn, and crawl into tight spaces for installations.Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.Ability to frequently climb up/down ladders and perform extended overhead cabling/wiring.Proficiency in gripping, pushing, pulling, and feeding cable vertically and horizontally.Ability to drive to job sites, frequently get in/out of vehicles, and load/unload tools and materials.Willingness to travel out of state and potential airline travel.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Why Work Here?

Work both indoors and outdoors depending on the jobsite location, requiring adaptability to various work conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
