About the RoleThe selected consultant will support enterprise identity and access management initiatives for a federal customer. This is a mid-level role requiring hands-on technical expertise across Oracle Identity Governance and Oracle Access Manager environments. The work includes development, integrations, troubleshooting, and ongoing support in both production and non-production environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement, maintain, and migrate Oracle IAM components including OIG, OAM 12c, OID 12c, WebLogic, SOA, BI, OAA, and OARMDevelop custom solutions using Java and OIG/OAM REST and Java APIsDesign and implement Single Sign-On integrations using out-of-the-box and custom approachesSupport authentication and authorization solutions including SSO, MFA, Identity Federation, SAML, OAuth, and OIDCBuild and maintain scheduled jobs, adapters, event handlers, plugins, notifications, custom connectors, and custom web pagesTroubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues across environmentsWrite and optimize SQL queries for custom functionality, reporting, and issue resolutionCreate, update, migrate, and maintain BI Publisher reportsWork with LDAP directories such as OID and Active Directory and troubleshoot directory-related issuesSupport audit and compliance requirements related to certifications, access requests, approvals, and user operationsManage multiple deliverables independently and drive tasks to completion
Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in the Identity and Access Management domainStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Identity Governance and Oracle Access ManagerStrong Java development skillsDeep understanding of IAM concepts including RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, and segregation of dutiesExtensive experience with SSO integrations
Strong SQL skillsExperience supporting production IAM environmentsExcellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred QualificationsExperience upgrading Oracle FMW from 12c to 14cKnowledge of Zero Trust identity concepts including WebAuthn and FIDO2IAM-related certifications such as CIAM or CIGEHands-on experience with OAM WebGate configuration and deploymentExperience with Splunk log analysis and troubleshooting
