**Aerotek is currently looking to hire a** **Hydraulic Welder** **in Baltimore! The candidate should be able to perform the following, and must have experience welding on hydraulic equipment.** + As a Welder, you will perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, stick, and plasma cutters on steel and other metals. + You will read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings to form and assemble metal components for hydraulic and mechanical systems. + Maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship in every weld is crucial. + You will work independently from job estimates and work orders, using precision tools to ensure fit and finish, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. + Collaboration with cylinder, pump, and component shop teams will be necessary. **Responsibilities** + Perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, stick, and plasma cutter on steel and other metals. + Read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings. + Form and assemble metal components for hydraulic and mechanical systems. + Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship in every weld. + Work independently from job estimates and work orders. + Use tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure fit and finish. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. + Collaborate with cylinder, pump, and component shop teams as needed. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years welding/fabrication experience (MIG & TIG required). + Proficiency in the use of plasma cutter and metalworking tools. + Strong attention to detail and quality. + Ability to work consistently and reliably with minimal supervision. + Basic math and measurement conversion skills (fractions, decimals, metric to standard). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
