Hydraulic Technician - Aerospace
Aerotek, on behalf of it's client is seeking Hydraulic technicians in a back shop setting of a MRO of leading heavy lift helo company. A&P license is required. Military I-level/Bench repair experience encouraged to apply. **$Local: 28-32/hr Non-local (Home address 75+miles from worksite): 31.25/hr, 166/day per diem (total comp $52)** **Description** Working in a bench repair and testing environment in the Hydraulics shop of the MRO component repair building, the Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. Performs overhaul, repair and testing of rotor craft hydraulic components and component parts; fabricates and installs hydraulic tubing and hoses, services hydraulic systems. Read and interprets maintenance manuals Cleans and inspects hydraulic systems, components and component parts for damage and wear Replaces or repairs damaged or worn hydraulic components, component parts Fabricates and installs hydraulic lines, hoses, and pipes, using hand and power tools and tool benders Utilizes special tools and/or equipment, performs tests, and/or checks as required to confirm hydraulic component or aircraft hydraulic system serviceability. **Skills** Hydraulics, repair, A&p, Aircraft maintenance, Troubleshooting, A&p license, tube bending, bench, pressure, valves, Blueprint, Hydraulic system **Additional Skills & Qualifications** 2+ years of experience in hydraulic repair including manual tube bending A&P LICENSE Tools (basics, list attached) Hydraulic Component Repair/Overhaul in a I-level/Intermediate Level or Depot environment US Person per client ITAR regulation **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $52.00/hr.
