Job Title: Hydraulic Technician

Join our team as a Hydraulic Technician, where you will service, assemble, and install hoses for a wide range of customers including those in manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication and strong customer service skills, who have a mechanical inclination and enjoy engaging with customers.

ResponsibilitiesOperate out of a mobile hose workshop/van, providing service calls in the local area.Adhere to all industry and safety standards.Maintain mobile units, tools, and equipment to company specifications.Carry out maintenance service calls and customer relationship visits in your local area.Identify and replace faulty hoses and/or hose assemblies to keep customers operating efficiently.Remove worn or broken hoses and install new replacement hoses and fittings.Clean up any oil spills or other environmental contaminants during equipment repair and maintenance.Input accurate service details into the online database to create precise records of job tickets and invoices.Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on-site and conducting follow-up visits.Develop relationships with new and existing customers to maintain and expand the business.Participate in the rotating on-call service schedule with incentive pay.Perform other related job duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical, electrical, industrial, and hydraulic systems.Troubleshooting and repair skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Experience in industrial development, construction, automobile/marine or field mechanics, materials recycling, mining & excavating, or heavy equipment maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will operate out of a purpose-built mobile unit equipped with all necessary tools and machinery to service your local area. The vehicle is yours to take home, maximizing your time off. Expect to work with oil, grease, lubricant, hydraulic fluid, and other substances. Service locations vary in terrain, noise level, and amenities. Occasional travel to the Florida training center may be required, with travel and expenses covered by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
