Hydraulic Assembler
**Job Title: Hydraulic Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a Level 1 Hydraulic Assembler who can process products with minimal supervision. This role involves working with aluminum parts, O-rings, safety devices, and performing various sealing and bonding procedures. You will be required to effectively use the Boeing portal and REDARS, part mark, and overcoat as per specified standards. **Responsibilities** + Process aluminum parts using Alodine as per BAC 5719 with QA approval. + Identify, inspect, clean, lubricate, and install O-rings and back-ups per BAC5506. + Perform electrical bonding procedures per BAC5117. + Install safety devices such as cotter pins, rivets, and lock wires per BAC5018. + Perform general sealing procedures as per BAC5000. + Apply torque seal as per BAC5001-6. + Inspect and install fittings, hoses, and tubing per BAC5001-6, -7 & 10. + Use Boeing portal & REDARS effectively. + Part mark and overcoat per BAC5307. + Input and edit data entries into part mark machines. + Maintain 6S and lean manufacturing best practices. + Use required personal protective equipment and follow safety instructions. + Assure proper use of equipment guards and safety switches. + Use correct tooling and meet traceability requirements. + Interpret and document information on Boeing ‘P’ copy and ‘Pic sheet’. + Perform normal repair and maintenance of equipment. + Handle and dispose of hazardous materials with proper training. + Keep work area clean and clear of obstructions. **Essential Skills** + Assembly and use of hand tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with torque tools. + Experience working on components, nuts, and torquing. + Ability to retain knowledge from on-the-job training. + Orion QA certification per BSS7600, 7604, 7606, 7611, 7617 & 7691. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Relevant experience is a plus. + A minimum of 6 months of experience relevant to HBU assembly work for Level 2. + Ability to provide on-the-job training or mentoring for Level 2. + Ability to read engineering drawings and use proper hand tools. + Fuel boost pump proficiency is a plus. + Hydraulics knowledge is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** Join a world-class aerospace manufacturing company that offers job stability and opportunities for career advancement.
