**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
As an assembler, you will be responsible for setting up tests, drilling parts using micro-drills and lathes, reading pressure gauges and flow meters, and accurately logging data to ATP requirements. You will swedge noses to form conical shapes, lock-wire and torque seal parts, and follow daily dispatch reports. Maintaining accurate parts count, installing internal components, identifying causes for test failures, and seeking lean ideas to improve efficiency are key aspects of your role.
**Pay: $25 - $30/ hr**
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up tests as required.
+ Drill parts using micro-drills and lathes.
+ Read pressure gauges and flow meters and accurately log data.
+ Swedge noses to form conical shapes.
+ Lock-wire and torque seal parts.
+ Follow daily dispatch reports and supervisor directions.
+ Maintain accurate parts count for each job.
+ Install internal components using arbor press and proper fixtures.
+ Identify causes for test failures and suggest corrective actions.
+ Set up and operate micro laser weld machine.
+ Set up and operate drill press for crimp roll.
+ Seek and document lean ideas to improve efficiency.
+ Maintain hand tools in clean working condition.
+ Notify supervisor of equipment requiring repair.
+ Keep work station and test equipment clean.
+ Properly handle and dispose of chemicals.
+ Maintain all safety standards and use safety equipment.
+ Identify routing discrepancies and notify supervisor.
+ Read and understand blueprints.
+ Understand basic hydraulic concepts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Certification in Hydraulic Principles with 1-2 years related experience or equivalent education.
+ Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
+ Basic arithmetic skills and understanding of measurement units.
+ Basic Windows and internet browser proficiency.
+ ERP/Inventory management skills.
+ Basic Blueprint Reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with assembly, hydraulics, testing, hand tools, power tools, torque, and rework.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and hydraulic systems.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a manufacturing setting that can be loud at times, with a lot of activity. Team members collaborate to meet deadlines, fostering a supportive culture. The team consists of 10-15 members and is expanding. Dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and non-offensive tops. Work hours are from 6am to 4:30pm on a 4/10 schedule.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, California.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
