People Team Coordinator (Human Resources)
Location: Stamford, CT
Job Summary:
The People Team Coordinator provides high-impact support to the People Business Partner (PBP) group. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional seeking hands-on experience in HR operations, data management, and employee life-cycle processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain spreadsheets tracking team member changes (transfers, promotions, compensation updates)
+ Generate and route ServiceNow tickets and employment letters
+ Manage offboarding processes and coordinate exit interviews
+ Pull, clean, and deliver data extracts from HRIS and ATS systems
+ Enter, verify, and audit employee changes in HRIS
+ Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate downstream impacts
+ Launch and monitor quarterly engagement surveys
+ Track mandatory training completion and follow up as needed
+ Coordinate onboarding logistics and support People Development initiatives
+ Maintain SOPs and suggest improvements for efficiency and automation
+ Participate in People Team projects and implement best practices
Qualifications:
+ 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or people analytics
+ Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP) and ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred)
+ Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
+ Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
