Job Description
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and
corrective maintenance requirements. Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes,
pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor.
systems, and production machines. Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations
manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoots
malfunctions and comply with NEC standards on wiring and installations.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for
problems; and using precision measuring tools.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using
rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and
alignment equipment.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance
techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Optimizes maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish
job results.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, communicating irregularities,
and scheduling corrections of abnormalities.
Management of Communication plan protocols and reporting procedures including daily and weekly communication, emails, virtual meetings, progress and issue logs
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations.
Adherence to commissioning plan, management of schedule of commissioning activities integrated with project schedule
Pre-functional checklist
Verify proper installation of equipment and components
Confirm compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
Equipment startup checklists & verify proper startup procedures are followed
Documentation of initial operating parameters
Identification of any startup issues
Issue log management & Root Cause analysis
Corrective action recommendations & review of proposed corrective actions from contractors
Verification of implemented solutions
Final system verification & documentation

MUST HAVE:
Ability to work varied hours as needed
Heavily mechanically inclined
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge (how to check voltage with a meter) or familiarity working in environments requiring this
Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, do heavy labor & and work in non-climate controlled environments at times
Ownership attitude/high initiative
Commissioning Foreman Requirements and Qualifications
• Completion of an industrial certificate or apprenticeship program is a plus
• Experience with industrial & mechanical systems required, HVAC systems preferred
• Data center familiarity preferred.
• Thorough working knowledge of industrial & mechanical equipment, its usage, and safety procedures
• Self-motivated, responsible and Safety Oriented individual.
• Learns and applies standard tools and techniques to solve problems.
• Demonstrates a positive “can-do” attitude.
• Takes responsibility for self-performance (ability to manage time and responsibilities independently).
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results and meeting expectations.
• Must have a flexible schedule, willing to work off hours and overtime depending on construction schedule
Excellent communication skills, electronic/virtual, written, and in person.
OSHA-10 a PLUS but not required

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
