Our client, a prominent organization supporting educational institutions, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting campus facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:Washington, DC

Pay Range:  $30/hr -  $35/hr

What's the Job?

Perform preventative maintenance on hydronic equipment and HVAC systems across campus buildings Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Conduct troubleshooting to identify equipment failures and determine appropriate solutions Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations Assist with minor repairs and support team members during maintenance activities

What's Needed?

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, walking, and lifting loads of 50 lbs. or more Basic knowledge of air handlers, filters, and coil cleaning Valid driver's license Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
