HVAC Technician
Job Title: HVAC TechnicianJob Description

Join our dedicated team as an HVAC Technician working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. In this role, you will provide maintenance and repair services to ensure optimal functionality of HVAC systems on a beautiful university campus.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, air handlers, and similar equipment.Troubleshoot and identify issues, reporting them for further action.Manage work orders efficiently, utilizing basic computer skills for sending and receiving.Collaborate with vendors, school faculty, and students, maintaining open communication.Implement routines for preventive maintenance and handle any assigned work orders.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.Possession of a valid HVAC license.Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.Basic computer skills for managing work orders.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in laboratory settings.Familiarity with boilers.Management experience.Experience in other trades such as Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on a picturesque campus located within the Babson University athletic complex, housing about 400 students during the academic year. During the off months, the campus hosts large summer camps with around 1000 campers daily. The campus is compact with five easily walkable buildings, providing a peaceful and accessible work setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Needham, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
