**Job Title: HVAC Residential Service/Install Technician**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Residential Service/Install Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing HVAC units and boiler systems for in-floor heating in both new constructions and remodel projects. The role also involves servicing and troubleshooting these units, particularly within the high-end home market.
Responsibilities
+ Install HVAC units for new construction, remodels, and rough-ins.
+ Install boiler systems for in-floor heat.
+ Create layouts and equipment lists for ordering materials for installation and final inspections.
+ Train customers on HVAC systems.
+ Troubleshoot HVAC units to identify malfunctions and other issues.
+ Build rapport with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
+ Conduct thorough evaluations of HVAC systems and develop various options to meet customer needs.
+ Educate homeowners on necessary services and their importance before starting work.
+ Maintain a safety-first approach during all work activities.
+ Test pipe and tubing joints and connections for leaks using pressure gauges, leak detection additives, or soap-and-water solutions.
+ Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using electrical test equipment.
+ Repair and replace defective equipment, components, and wiring.
+ Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with clients to isolate problems and ensure repairs corrected the issues.
+ Maintain detailed notes of work before, during, and after completion.
+ Review invoices with customers and collect payments.
Essential Skills
+ HVAC installation, service, and troubleshooting experience.
+ Experience with boiler systems and electrical/mechanical systems.
+ Field service and customer service skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical information.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ HVAC Technical College education preferred but not required.
+ Insurable driving record.
+ EPA II License required.
+ 5 years of related experience and/or training.
+ Competency Card for Minneapolis or St. Paul is a plus.
+ Willingness to attend additional industry training as required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cologne, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
