Job Description

A facilities services company has an exciting opportunity for a mobile HVAC technician. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and HVAC repairs on commercial properties. You will be responsible for driving a company van to customer sites, conducting minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance, and documenting your work using Microsoft Word and Excel.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.Conduct minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.Drive a company van to various customer sites.Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal employees.Document and log activities using Microsoft Word and Excel.Essential Skills5+ years of HVAC experience.EPA certification (Universal or 608 or 609).Experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.Active and valid driver's license.Proficiency in computer documentation using Microsoft Office or Lotus Notes.Additional Skills & QualificationsMultiple EPA certifications.HVACR certification.Extensive experience in facilities maintenance.Experience with belts, pulleys, compressors, fans, motors, condensing units, and brazing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role involves traveling to various regions of Houston, working either independently or with a partner at client sites. You will interact with clients and service vendors frequently. The position requires logging work orders into the company's system. Expect to wear steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The standard shift is from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work based on customer needs and seasonal demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of League City, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
