The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across both residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and residents. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively with maintenance and renovation teams to ensure efficient, safe system operations in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.Respond promptly to service calls, ensuring timely and effective resolution.Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.Replace or upgrade existing systems and components as needed.Coordinate installation activities with team members.Conduct performance testing, airflow measurements, and system diagnostics.Essential SkillsProven experience in HVAC service, repair, and installation.Knowledge of HVAC systems, local building codes, EPA regulations, and safety practices.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Valid driver's license required.Industry certification preferred.Why Work Here?
