Hvac Technician
**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to manage and maintain our building's HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role involves overseeing maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing leadership to the maintenance team. **Responsibilities** + Monitor and maintain refrigeration, water cooling, air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating, and hot water equipment, as well as pumps, valves, piping, and filters. + Prepare and submit purchase orders and develop sources for stock materials, ensuring an adequate inventory of tools and supplies. + Oversee contractors working within the building and ensure compliance with building standards. + Identify safety hazards and implement remediation measures to ensure a safe working environment. + Manage safety training programs and ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines. + Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and personal development. + Provide training and support to expand the capabilities of the operations staff. + Ensure understanding of the Critical Facility Work Authorization process among staff and contractors. **Essential Skills** + Associate Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience. + 3-5 years of relevant HVAC experience. + 7 years of facility-related work experience, including customer service and supervisory roles. + Managerial experience in facilities maintenance. + Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes and construction planning. + Exposure to HVAC fluid handling, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS systems. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Certification as a Universal Technician or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy stable employment with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule, offering work-life balance and a supportive work environment. **Work Environment** The role involves facility maintenance with mostly 8am-5pm shifts from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
