Hvac Technician
**Job Title: Equipment Repair Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as an Equipment Repair Technician, where you will be responsible for conducting diagnostics and repairs on a diverse range of equipment. Your role will involve maintaining service records, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring rental equipment standards are met. You will also be tasked with project setups, warranty claims, and equipment inspections. **Responsibilities** + Schedule and perform diagnostics and repairs on various types of equipment. + Document equipment status before and after rental, including detailed work orders. + Communicate equipment issues to customers, foremen, and supporting mechanics. + Conduct diagnostics on Power/Pump/HVAC/Load Bank and Compressor equipment. + Run install crew for project setups at customer job sites. + Maintain service records and create warranty claims. + Perform rent-ready inspections on assigned equipment groups. + Carry out preventative maintenance on Pump & Power equipment. + Install flexible gas hoses on propane and natural gas applications and perform safety checks. + Document projects with daily notes, labor logs, and progress reports. + Collaborate with Service Managers and Rental Operations to ensure equipment standards. + Maintain brand commitments of equipment. + Safely dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company policy. + Adhere to safety standards prescribed by management. + Be available for on-call emergency service as scheduled. + Complete duties of Level 1 job and additional tasks as assigned. + Complete SMFs, warranties, order parts, and commission new equipment. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment. + EPA section 608 universal Certification required. + Knowledge of basic refrigeration (EPA Certified). + Understanding of electrical engines and controllers. + Familiarity with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters. + Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, and Shoring. + Understanding of diesel equipment, generators, and air compressors. + Ability to read and understand electric schematics and hydraulic flow drawings. + Project management and customer service skills. + Operational process/system aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with similar equipment is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy opportunities for career development and promotion from within, a work truck once permanent, excellent health care, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k, and immediate PTO.
