Job Description
Join our team as an HVAC Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining HVAC systems primarily in commercial and industrial settings. You will be responsible for diagnosing maintenance risks and ensuring the effective operation of equipment you install or maintain.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems including compressors, blowers, motors, chillers, and refrigeration components.Diagnose maintenance risks and perform necessary repairs.Travel to leased units for service, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.Work on various HVAC units including ducts, mini-split systems, and Bard Units.Collaborate with current HVAC tech for training and transition purposes.Essential SkillsEPA Universal 608 certification.Valid New York State Driver's License.Experience in troubleshooting heating and cooling systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of refrigeration, Bard units, split systems, cooling, heating, boilers, chillers, and furnaces.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position involves both field and yard work, with technicians riding along with current HVAC techs to service and troubleshoot units between Rochester and Syracuse. Work hours begin at 7 AM and may extend to 5-6 PM depending on work orders, with regular shop hours concluding at 3 PM. All drive time from departure to return is compensated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Syracuse, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
