Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will diagnose and address system issues, provide effective solutions, and interact with customers to explain repair options and maintenance recommendations. Ensuring all work adheres to local, state, and federal regulations, you will maintain accurate service records and complete timely reports.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts.Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including electrical and mechanical components.Troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions to restore system functionality.Interact with customers to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.Follow company safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a residential setting.Valid HVAC technician certification (e.g., EPA 608).Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical exertion.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ozone Park, New York.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
