HVAC Technician
**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **Job Description** As an HVAC Technician, you will develop, coordinate, establish, and execute HVAC schedules to ensure services or repairs are conducted at a frequency necessary to maintain quality standards and reliability, with a strong emphasis on safety. You will organize, train, lead, schedule, and supervise HVAC crews, consisting of both house employees and contractors, to carry out tasks with a high level of craftsmanship. **Responsibilities** + Evaluate available heating and air conditioning products and standardize products and hardware to achieve economy. + Submit purchase requests in line with the established HVAC schedule to ensure ready availability of materials, supplies, and equipment. + Coordinate with department heads to ensure the availability of facilities or areas to be repaired or maintained, minimizing disruptions of ongoing operations and/or classes. + Coordinate special projects with outside heating and air conditioning contractors. + Determine and monitor stock inventory levels related to the HVAC area. + Maintain and submit reports on all man-hours and materials utilized in performing HVAC service functions. + Monitor all buildings tied into the Central Environmental Control System and make necessary corrections and adjustments to meet building requirements. + Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain digital and pneumatic control systems for HVAC, humidity, and laboratory equipment, including the calibration of related instruments, fume hoods, gauges, and controls. + Install, operate, service, and repair conventional mechanical refrigeration/air conditioning equipment, such as ice machines, standard refrigerators, and general-purpose conditioning units. + Conduct necessary tests on equipment to determine malfunctions or causes of breakdowns, remove and replace faulty parts, subassemblies, and major components, and re-test equipment with repaired components, making required adjustments and corrections. + Responsible for inventory and safe usage of equipment and tools assigned to the HVAC area. + Complete other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 10+ years of HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation experience + 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC + 3+ years of boiler operating and troubleshooting experience + 3+ years of leadership experience + Electrical and field service expertise **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman HVAC License is preferred **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including full health, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401k plan. **Work Environment** Work in an updated facility environment with 40+ buildings on site. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
