Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will support the maintenance and continuous operation of all HVAC-related building systems, including mechanical HVAC controls, related electrical and temperature control systems, and critical environments. You will coordinate with staff and outside vendors as necessary to ensure optimal functionality.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the maintenance and continuous operation of all HVAC-related building systems.Understand and incorporate the maintenance objectives of the facility into a documented plan, including preventive, corrective, and reliability maintenance procedures.Take immediate action on all alarms, repair or correct alarm conditions if possible, and start follow-up trails for each alarm.Monitor and make adjustments on refrigeration, heat exchangers, HVAC centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, electrical emergency backup systems, and hot water systems.Adjust and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning equipment, boilers, ventilating and hot water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.Record readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of problems or malfunctions, and take corrective action as required.Perform preventive maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience working with HVAC/refrigeration mechanical systems.EPA 608 Universal Certification.Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least one year of experience working in the BioPharma or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.A record of excellent internal and external customer service.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
