HVAC Supervisor - Camp Pendleton, CA ResponsibilitiesManage and develop workload schedules for HVAC mechanics.Develop training and awareness programs on HVAC technologies and best practices.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local statutory requirements.Ensure business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met according to job site requirements.Manage workflow, create team schedules, and delegate tasks.Assess employee work performance and identify areas for improvement.Train and onboard new hires to ensure understanding of roles.Set goals for workers and ensure compliance with company plans and vision.Recommend new employees to HR based on performance assessments.Report performance records and evaluations to HR and management.Schedule work requests and staffing to complete requests promptly.Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair systems including chillers, air handling units, controls, package units, split systems, exhaust fans, refrigerators, freezers, hot/chilled water pumps.Operate systems and evaluate equipment to determine needed repairs.Install refrigeration and air conditioning systems according to design specifications.Charge refrigeration systems with refrigerant gas and test for leaks.Start units and adjust for proper operation of refrigeration units, humidifiers, heaters, air cleaners, and circulating pumps.Adjust systems for optimal performance.Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems by checking performance and diagnosing problems.Install, maintain, and repair electrical and pneumatic systems associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.Perform necessary plumbing procedures to ensure system operation.Essential SkillsAbility to read blueprints, sketches, and specifications for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.Broad trade knowledge of mechanical principles and standard shop methods in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade.Ability to interpret and develop technical reports.Proficient written and oral communication skills.Strong computer skills, able to read, write, and comprehend instructional documents.Ability to operate testing equipment and use tools necessary for the trade.Ability to perform unusual and difficult operations occasionally.Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient Microsoft Office productivity suite.Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs.Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.High school diploma or equivalent.At least two years of related experience.Experience and/or certification in predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound).Pay and Benefits
