**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets by applying a variety of craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling. The role requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete tasks efficiently. Responsibilities + Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assigned tasks. + Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. + Use the work order management system to document and manage reactive repair requests. + Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on facilities and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. + Complete all required safety training to operate tools and equipment in compliance with company standards. Essential Skills + Facilities maintenance + Plumbing + HVAC + Electrical + Carpentry + Troubleshooting + Mechanical repair + Preventive maintenance + Facility lighting and maintenance Additional Skills & Qualifications + Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 5 years' experience in these areas without certification. + Documentation of repairs and troubleshooting abilities. + Effective communication with team leaders. + Computer proficiency for data input. + Valid driver's license. + Ability to obtain necessary certifications. Work Environment The role involves working varying shifts, including overnight, based on business needs.
