HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment, primarily rooftop units, at various facilities in the Austin metro area. This role offers the flexibility to dispatch from home with the use of a company-provided work truck or van. Initially, you will work alongside a Lead Technician before handling service calls independently.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment, mainly rooftop units.Travel to multiple sites daily within the Austin metro area.Collaborate with a Lead Technician for initial training and guidance.Perform HVAC maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.Essential SkillsMinimum of 4 years of HVAC experience.Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC equipment.Valid Driver's License.EPA Certification.Registration with TDLR.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role involves service work at multiple sites daily, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. Work typically begins at 8 a.m. and concludes once tasks are completed, generally around 5 p.m., but may vary. The position allows for dispatching from home, providing flexibility and convenience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
