**Job Title: HVAC Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to perform HVAC service work primarily for residential customers within Oakland County, with occasional light commercial service work up to 25 tons. Technicians will receive a service van and iPad for daily tasks and are expected to handle 4-5 service calls per day. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats, discussing issues and solutions with customers, and handling payments. Safety procedures must be followed while working inside and outside customer homes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform HVAC service work, primarily for residential customers, with occasional light commercial tasks.
+ Diagnose and repair issues with AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats.
+ Discuss issues and solutions with customers, educating them on necessary repairs.
+ Handle payments upon completion of services.
+ Adhere to all safety procedures while working inside and outside of customer homes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing AC units and furnaces.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance.
+ Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
+ EPA Certification.
+ Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate and ease customer concerns.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with rooftop units (RTUs) and mini splits.
+ Knowledge of HVAC equipment, repair, and installation.
+ Electrical repair skills.

**Work Environment**
Technicians will work both indoors and outdoors, performing tasks at residential and commercial sites. Work involves driving to different locations in a company-provided vehicle. The job comprises approximately 10-20% commercial work, 30% new construction, and 50-60% residential work.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
