**Job Title: HVAC Service Install Technician**
**Job Description**
As an HVAC Service Install Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems and other mechanical equipment. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment, while providing exceptional service to our customers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Identify and diagnose problems with mechanical equipment and systems, performing necessary repairs and parts replacement.
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and identify potential issues.
+ Install new equipment, including HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures.
+ Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
+ Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures, and address any questions or concerns.
+ Ensure safety in work areas and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and repair procedures.
+ Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
+ Clear communication skills with customers and colleagues.
+ Physical strength to lift and carry equipment and tools.
+ Reliability and punctuality in work attendance and completion.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Licensing or certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work may be required.
+ Experience with blueprints, troubleshooting, electrical repair, and commercial HVAC installation.
+ Knowledge of VRF systems, sheet metal, and soldering.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
