Position Summary

In your role as an HVAC Maintenance Senior Technician, you'll be responsible to perform a variety of skilled tasks in dismantling, inspecting, diagnosing defects, repairing, servicing, and assembling rotating equipment that is serviced and repaired by company. z

You'll also perform field service work to remove and install rotating equipment; perform alignment and preventive maintenance tasks.

You'll also be responsible for performing technical tasks in support of the operation and maintenance of utility systems, Fab support equipment, building maintenance.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Normally receives minimal supervision unless a major incident occurs

Receives some direction from Master Technician/TRs/Supervisors to prioritize non-routine daily tasks and/or projects

Identifies new assignment/projects based on the need of the department

Must have expert understanding of equipment/processes

Should demonstrate a deep level adaptability and the ability to change priorities based on the business needs

May provide mentoring to other non-exempt personnel

May provide technical training to the department or organization

Has advanced understanding the SOPs

Works on advanced assignment that require a considerable amount of judgment and initiative

Work shift: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

High School Diploma or technical school certification preferred

NCCCR Millwright and/or Industrial Certification

Typically requires 8-15 years of experience

Semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing experience

May require a specific license (dependent on individual position)

Experienced and fluent in the use of digital alignment and precision tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges). 

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems. (CMMS Programs)

All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.  We are not currently accepting applications for candidates who currently, or in the future, will need visa sponsorship.This position has the potential to frequently work with and be exposed to materials which contain hazardous chemicals. This role also regularly works to move mechanical parts in and outside in various weather conditions including heat and humidity.The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60 - $52.20/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
