Hvac Mechanic
**Job Title: Facility/HVAC Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Facility/HVAC Mechanic to work on HVAC equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role requires proficiency with R-134, 410, and 404 freon systems, as well as the ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and facilities. **Responsibilities** + Work on HVAC equipment within a manufacturing environment. + Hook-up gauges and check freon levels. + Troubleshoot to find and repair leaks. + Replace compressors, fans, and motors. + Braze piping on repairs. + Diagnose and repair basic electrical issues on HVAC Units. + Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and facilities. + Read building drawings and electrical schematics proficiently. + Maintain proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). **Essential Skills** + Experience working on HVAC systems. + Ability to troubleshoot nearly any problem within the discipline. + Understanding of equipment operation, control logic, and start-up/shut-down procedures. + Strong industrial electrical knowledge. + Knowledge of the proper use of the tools of the trade. + Minimum High School diploma or GED. + 3 to 5 years of facility repairs and HVAC experience preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with i-Vu (Bac-Net) preferred but not required. + Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent attendance record. + Strong decision-making skills. + Ability to lift 50 lbs. intermittently. + Additional schooling is preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision, accuracy, and alertness, where you can operate independently and demonstrate your skills through Hands-On Demonstrations (HOD). The first shift operates from 5am to 2pm, offering a stable work schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Brunswick, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
