Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Journeyman HVAC Mechanic to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. This role is perfect for someone with solid field experience who can work independently or as part of a team, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform installation of commercial HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, RTUs, split systems, and heat pumps.Conduct routine maintenance and service calls to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.Assist in start-up and commissioning of new systems.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Collaborate with senior mechanics and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.Document service and installation activities accurately.Essential Skills4+ years of commercial HVAC experience.EPA Universal Certification required.Completion of HVAC apprenticeship or technical training program.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and controls.Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and in confined spaces.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 10 certification preferred.Solid troubleshooting and mechanical skills.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.Good communication and customer service skills.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position will be based in commercial settings, including hospitals and rooftops. The role involves working with various HVAC systems such as split-units and chillers. The candidate will undergo a thorough interview process, including virtual and in-person interviews with an in-depth technical review.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Castle, Delaware.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
