Job Title: HVAC InstallerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to perform installation work primarily for residential customers in and around Oakland County. This role involves installing AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats, as well as discussing and educating customers during Add-On Replacement (AOR) work. You will handle payment upon service completion and ensure all safety procedures are followed when working inside and outside customer homes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and teach a helper.

ResponsibilitiesPerform HVAC installations for residential customers, including AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats.Educate and discuss options with customers during AOR work.Handle payment transactions upon completion of services.Adhere to all safety procedures while working inside and outside customer homes.Mentor and teach a helper during installations.Essential SkillsAt least 3+ years of residential HVAC install work (AOR or New Construction).Minimum 2 years of experience leading a helper.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items using additional manpower or devices.Capability to carry ladders, work from heights, and operate in small crawl spaces.Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record.EPA Certification.Excellent customer service skills for communicating issues and easing tensions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in commercial HVAC service.Carrier equipment experience.Nexstar Training for approaching homes and communicating with homeowners.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work involves a mix of commercial and residential tasks, with approximately 10-20% commercial, 30% new construction, and 50-60% residential projects. You will drive site-to-site using a company vehicle, performing tasks both inside and outside of various sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
