Our client, an HVAC Contractor in Loomis, California is seeking an **HVAC Installation Helper** to join their growing team. As an HVAC Installation Helper, you will be part of the Field Installation Team supporting Sales & Customers. The ideal candidate will have good customer service skills, EPA certification and valid driver's license and 1-2 years experience in HVAC installation which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: HVAC Installation Helper** **Location: Loomis, California** **Pay Rate: $25 - $35/hr. D.O.E.** **What’s the Job?** + Cuts, punches, flanges, shears, and solders sheet metal ducts and parts. Cuts threads and packs pipes.Cements insulation in place over finished piping or tubing. + Passes electrical wire through conduit, splices wire connections, and tapes wire. Assembles sheet metal components of prefabricated furnaces. Replaces empty or defective containers of refrigerant with new refrigerant. Lubricates fans, motors, and control units. + Installs air and water filters in completed assembly. Furnishes workers with materials, tools, and supplies. + Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties. **What’s Needed?** + One-to-two-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and co-workers in English. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. + Qualified candidates will be EPA certified.
