Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Foreman to work within the Kalamazoo area on various projects. This role involves replacing ductwork, internal systems, and rooftop units, while leading projects and managing apprentices effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage HVAC projects within the Kalamazoo area.Replace ductwork, internal systems, and rooftop units.Oversee and mentor apprentices, ensuring they develop skills effectively.Run jobs and manage project timelines and deliverables.

Essential Skills

Hydronic Piping experience, which involves using heated or chilled fluids for space heating and cooling.Sheet Metal experience, specifically installing ductwork.Retrofitting experience, which includes adding new technology or features to older systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to run a job or project and collaborate effectively with apprentices.HVAC system installation and industrial experience.Proficiency in ductwork, air conditioning, heating, and HVAC equipment.Journeyman HVAC certification and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

Work typically occurs during the 1st shift, starting between 6/7 am and ending around 3/4 pm, with shifts lasting 8-10 hours depending on project assignments. Projects are usually in existing commercial or industrial buildings, with occasional work outside on rooftops for unit change-outs.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
