Our client, a leading organization in the field of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality research, is seeking a Human Subjects Research Assistant II to join their team. As a Research Assistant, you will be part of the Human Research Support team supporting innovative experiments and studies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Human Subjects Research Assistant II
**Location: Redmond, WA**
**Pay Range:** 35-40/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist principal investigators with experiments involving human subjects, including setup and execution
+ Support experimental design, provide feedback, and help optimize procedures
+ Set up equipment and manage lab spaces for research activities
+ Conduct experiments, including obtaining informed consent and collecting data
+ Handle confidential data with care and prepare basic reports on research findings
**What's Needed?**
+ 2-4 years of experience supporting human behavioral experiments
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, engineering, or related fields
+ Experience working in research or academic environments involving human subjects
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and personal management skills
+ Experience with data analysis and working with technical equipment such as inertial sensors, optical sensing, or EMG is a plus
