Job Title: Human Resources Representative About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Representative to join our team. This role acts as a vital bridge between our Home Office HR department and field employees, ensuring consistent HR practices, compliance, and a positive workplace culture across all locations. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and manage new hire paperwork in the field. + Create and manage job postings and hiring processes through Paychex. + Address employee inquiries and concerns; conduct investigations in collaboration with HR management. + Draft disciplinary actions and provide HR guidance from the Home Office. + Ensure completion of mandatory training and coordinate onsite training sessions. + Determine and implement required training programs. + Assist employees with benefits enrollment and escalate complex issues to the Home Office. + Track benefits and support managers in modeling HR best practices. + Conduct onsite random testing and manage nicotine and non-DOT drug testing. + Maintain DOT files and manage random drug testing schedules. + Communicate HR updates and initiatives from the Home Office to field HR representatives. Essential Skills & Qualifications: + Minimum 2 years of comprehensive HR experience. + Strong knowledge of HR administration, employee relations, and onboarding. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience in payroll and benefits administration. + Recruiting expertise and familiarity with DOT regulations. + Ability to develop and lead employee engagement initiatives. + Flexible to candidates with varying levels of experience—this role can be shaped to fit the right individual.
