Are you ready to move the world forward? Apply now. **A Brief Summary of This Position** This functional manager position will report directly to the HR Strategic People Partner. The incumbent of this position will build, develop and foster effective relationships with leaders, managers and employees to influence and execute HR initiatives and will be responsible for partnering and collaborating with leaders in areas of employee relations, performance/check-in process management, recruiting, retention initiatives, policy implementation and adherence, change management, talent development and training, and employment law compliance including workers’ compensation claims review. **Essential Functions** + Serve as a trusted HR partner by delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality employee relations support and guidance. + Develop a strong understanding of the business by engaging with departmental leaders, site operations, and applicable employment/labor regulations. + Partner with leaders to clarify role responsibilities, define performance expectations, and identify standards of exceptional performance. + Drive a positive workplace culture by promoting engagement, inclusion, accountability, and open communication across the site. + Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and morale, including wellness programs, recognition efforts, and feedback mechanisms. + Support leadership in setting expectations that foster employee growth, career development, and organizational bench strength. + Ensure ongoing compliance with all federal, state, local, and country employment laws and regulations. + Lead and participate in HR initiatives and projects; assess site-specific needs and collaborate with HR leadership to implement effective solutions. + Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding activities to ensure a positive candidate and new-hire experience. + Build and maintain community partnerships to develop diverse and sustainable talent pipelines. + Manage HR programs including benefits open enrollment, wellness clinics, performance management, pay practices, training initiatives, and employee check-in processes. + Provide tools, training, and guidance to leaders and employees to ensure effective use of HR systems, processes, and services. + Align short- and long-term human capital planning with business strategy, challenges, and growth opportunities. + Partner with the Compensation Center of Excellence (CoE) on market pricing, job evaluations, and competitive pay and benefits analysis. + Champion organizational change by guiding leaders and employees through transitions with clarity, empathy, and consistency. + Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, progress reviews, and compensation decisions aligned with performance, market data, and internal equity. + Develop, analyze, and report HR metrics to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and best practices; prepare and deliver professional data-driven presentations. + Stay current on HR trends and best practices through benchmarking, networking, and industry research. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)** + Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years human resources experience or Associates degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or 10+ years relevant experience. + Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with hands-on experience addressing compliance issues and non-conformities. + Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), with the ability to manage, analyze, and maintain accurate employee data. + Proven ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and perform work as needed—even when outside the traditional HR functional scope. + Excellent customer service mindset with strong professional communication and presentation skills. + Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and discretion, maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive and personal information; must be willing to sign an HR Confidentiality Agreement. + Experience in employee relations and dispute resolution, with the judgment to escalate issues proactively to prevent workplace conflict, agency claims, or litigation. + Highly organized with the ability to execute responsibilities efficiently, effectively, and with a sense of urgency. + Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment. + Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to support operational needs. + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight stays. **Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications** + PHR certification, or SHRM-CP certification + Bilingual in Spanish + Experience using Workday software applications + 3 years HR Experience in Manufacturing/Warehousing environment + MBA **Working Environment and Physical Efforts** Work is typically performed in an office setting; however, incumbent will be required to go into a production environment for work purposes. While visiting manufacturing/production areas, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always required. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as participate in computer and phone discussions where speaking and listening abilities are needed. Occasionally, the employee will need to walk between offices or buildings to attend business meetings/activities. The general work environment is fast-paced and demanding. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger/keyboard, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms between waist and shoulder height while working in the office with various equipment, files and forms and while working on a computer or laptop. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height, and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds (includes laptop bag), and will rarely pull, push or lift up to 40 pounds when traveling (suitcase weight). Employee must be able and willing to travel by air and may be required to drive as part of the responsibilities of this position.
