Human Resources Manager | Pay: 90k - 120k/yr | 5-days onsite in Portsmouth, VA | 6-month contract-to-hire Description + Manage the company’s full training and development budget, including forecasting and tracking. + Handle core HR responsibilities such as FMLA, ADA, STD, compliance, and employee relations. + Conduct interviews and support hiring decisions while partnering with an HR Coordinator who manages scheduling and candidate logistics. + Lead onboarding for all new hires and agency workers, ensuring a smooth and consistent process. + Maintain HR documentation, support policy interpretation, and assist leaders with HR best practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum 6–8 years of progressive HR experience in a higher‑level or generalist/manager capacity. + Bachelor’s degree required. + Advanced Excel skills, including handling complex spreadsheets, formulas, and high‑volume reporting; frequent reporting required due to separate data requests from the parent company. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Portsmouth, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
