Essential Duties & Responsibilities Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to retention, and succession planning.Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits.Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Five to ten years of Human Resources Management experienceSound knowledge of labor legislation and HR practicesThe ability to work efficiently under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsExcellent management and leadership skillsComputer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, database management.Strong interpersonal communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills. Work EnvironmentConditions include working in office, with occasional entry into shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses. Occasional exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property. Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment.
