Job Description
As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all facets of Human Resources functions. You will serve as a resource to managers, supervisors, and employees, ensuring that HR practices align with the best interests of the company.
ResponsibilitiesDirect recruitment and retention activities across all locations, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company interests.Maintain and update job descriptions and classifications, providing recommendations to the owners as necessary.Assist in administering the Management/Incentive Compensation Plan for managers and salespeople.Coordinate the Performance Appraisal process, advising evaluators of their responsibilities in a timely manner.Oversee and participate in the development of personnel policies, ensuring understanding and compliance among managers and supervisors.Manage employee communications and advise owners on the impact of policy changes.Interact with legal counsel, consultants, and service providers to protect the company's business interests.Establish and maintain HR Information Systems and record retention methods, serving as a central source for personnel data.Provide or arrange management training and workshops to enhance supervisory skills on employee-related matters.Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from outside resources and entities, including government agencies.Work with supervisors and employees to resolve workplace issues promptly and equitably.Represent the company as the Equal Employment Opportunity officer to ensure compliance.Implement activities to enhance employee relations and morale, including recognition programs and events.Participate in monthly Safety Committee meetings.Conduct activities that positively reflect the company's community image and participate in community activities as required.Essential SkillsHuman resources managementOnboarding and talent acquisitionRecruiting and employee relationsEmployee benefits and recruitmentTalent managementCompensation and employment lawMicrosoft Office proficiencyHR systems knowledgeBenefits administrationFMLA and HR managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred5+ years of HR experienceManufacturing backgroundStrategy-minded HR individualSHRM or PHR certification requiredExperience in administrative or supervisory HR rolesKnowledge of personal computer operations and HRIS softwareWork Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering some flexibility. Availability after hours may be required for managers in different time zones. Some travel is expected, mostly within 10 miles of the main office, with occasional out-of-state trips.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
