Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a self-directed Human Resources Intern with a passion for talent development, employee engagement, and HR operations. In this role, the intern will actively support the HR Business Partner team by assisting with employee relations activities, contributing to engagement initiatives, maintaining HR records, and supporting projects that align with key business priorities. This internship provides hands-on experience across strategic HR functions while advancing organizational goals and supporting your professional growth.Responsibilities:
Participate in all internship activities and events scheduled during normal business hoursAssist with research, planning, and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives related to HRBP effortsSupport the development and implementation of new resources and trainings with members of the teamContribute innovative ideas and share best practices relevant to HRAssist in performance management, talent development and employee relations processesRequirements:
Requires High School DiplomaPursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resource Management or related fieldStrong verbal and written communication to effectively communicate with employees of all levelsSuperior interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills as well as excellent relationship building skillsStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and to navigate relationships and time constrains effectively.Strong orientation to technology and excellent PC skills.
