Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the NW suburbs. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing workplace concerns and supporting overall organizational goals. This is a hybrid model and salary up to $120K. Responsibilities:
• Handle employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts with a focus on resolution and fairness.
• Lead investigations into workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related risks and litigation matters.
• Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization.
• Drive efforts to enhance employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
• Manage HRIS systems effectively to support HR operations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with benefits administration and related functions.
• Support organizational goals by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in human resources management.
• Strong expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as PeopleSoft.
• Ability to conduct workplace investigations with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to promote positive employee engagement and a healthy workplace culture.
