Human Resources Coordinator
Human Resources Coordinator Job Description This position is responsible for managing payroll, recruiting hourly employees, and addressing accounts payable and benefits-related issues. The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Human Resource Operations Manager with various administrative functions, ensuring a smooth operation of HR activities. Responsibilities + Coordinate with supervisors and managers to process and review the weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time. + Monitor the time clock system daily to ensure data accuracy. + Serve as the point of contact for all payroll-related issues, including direct deposit, tax changes, and raises. + Process new hires and terminations, including handling E-Verify, NARFs, and PAFs. + Communicate various benefit plans, such as healthcare, life insurance, and retirement savings programs. + Lead the recruiting process for plant hourly positions using the applicant tracking system. + Record and maintain information necessary for preparing affirmative action plans. + Maintain electronic employee files through the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). + Assist employees with Self-Service and other self-help resources. + Lead and initiate the performance management process, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions. + Assist and guide plant leaders on basic employee relations issues and escalate to the Human Resource Operations Manager when appropriate. + Process and verify the payment of invoices timely. + Actively assist with audits. + Onboard all new hourly and salaried employees. + Administer, log, maintain, and track all required training courses. + Serve as the point person for employees regarding FMLA and other leave issues. + Participate in and assist the HR Operations team in implementing policies, procedures, and practices involving Human Resources. + Flex work schedule as needed to accommodate a three-shift operation. + Actively participate in all plant meetings. + Engage with employees by participating in activities and conducting regular facility walkthroughs. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Human resources + Employee relations + Onboarding + Data entry + Recruiting + Administrative support + Payroll + HR systems + Employee benefits Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a Business field preferred. + 2 – 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Attendance Tracking, Recruiting, and Payroll. + Solid knowledge of basic federal and employment laws. + Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Experience with Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
