Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This role involves managing the staffing process, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering positive employee relations. The position requires a strong understanding of HR practices and the ability to handle complex situations with discretion.
Responsibilities
Develop job descriptions and manage the staffing process for all positions.Coordinate with PM/Team Lead for employee requirements including location, IT needs, and FLSA classification.Post open positions on applicant tracking systems and approved job boards.Source, screen, and arrange interviews for candidates, maintaining candidate dispositions in relevant systems.Update applicant flow log regularly to ensure compliance with Affirmative Action.Communicate with employees who are not selected and prepare employment offers.Coordinate employment testing, and conduct employment verifications.Arrange job fairs and conferences as needed.Manage onboarding processes including new hire form completion and coordination with departments.Enter employee data in Costpoint and coordinate onboarding briefings.Administer contract badging and verify employment eligibility via E-Verify.Enter new hires into the HRIS and provide benefits information.Conduct weekly reports on employee activity including headcount, retention rate, and turnover.Maintain compliant personnel files and accuracy of I-9 documents.Conduct employee benefit surveys and work with providers to recommend packages.Assist with HR data gathering for system implementation and proposals.Recommend new approaches and procedures to improve HR department efficiency.Provide guidance on coaching, counseling, career development, and employment laws.Manage professional development and tuition reimbursement programs.Consult on disciplinary matters or terminations.Process employee separation notifications and conduct exit interviews.Essential Skills
Minimum four years of HR generalist experience.Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, especially for government contractors.Experience recruiting for Cleared positions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Virtual Meeting platforms.Strong communication and presentation skills.Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification is desired.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Detail-oriented and team-oriented.Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with three days in-office and two remote, providing flexibility. The ideal candidate will have government experience and be comfortable in a consulting role. While proficiency in Deltek talent management is a plus, no specific HRIS experience is required. The team is small, and the role may involve working closely with others in the organization.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
