About the Role
Step into a critical role that supports the hiring and onboarding of a large hourly workforce. As an HR Assistant, you’ll help centralize and automate key hiring processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll have ownership over daily workflows, act as a quality gatekeeper, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that benefit both candidates and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
As part of the HR Operations team, you will manage essential tasks that keep hiring processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:
Daily Operations & Task Ownership
+ Manage and independently execute daily tasks from start to finish.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues related to processes or tools.
Quality & Compliance
+ Conduct quality audits of outsourced vendors to ensure high accuracy and adherence to standards.
+ Handle sensitive candidate information with strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
+ Manage backend processes related to application creation, document collection, and candidate compliance.
Operational Excellence & Team Support
+ Act as a liaison between field teams and centralized support services.
+ Support reporting needs and communicate key updates to internal teams and leadership.
+ Demonstrate strong judgment in ambiguous situations, finding solutions when processes aren’t clearly defined.
+ Recommend enhancements to processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and the candidate experience.
Data & Systems Management
+ Import and export data across multiple systems with precision.
+ Use Excel extensively (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) for data organization and analysis.
+ Maintain and improve data management systems and procedures.
+ Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
What You BringEssential Skills
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
+ Experience in HR, data entry, or customer service.
+ Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, self‑starting approach.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous experience in HR support or HR operations roles.
Work Environment
+ Onsite 4 days per week in Tempe.
+ 4x10 schedule offering extended weekends.

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
